Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone.  I find myself wondering today, how many people out there celebrate Easter and get together with family and watch the kids hunt for eggs and candy and really don’t have a clue why this day is so special?  How far have we strayed from Christianity and the values of our ancestors that we think Easter is simply a time to get together, eat and drink too much, and watch the kids hunt for goodies.  What are we REALLY celebrating?  I’m sure a poll of the American people would scare or depress me.

Just the same, I hope everyone DOES gather with family and has a good time with their loved ones.  Even if they are not sure why they are doing it, I believe deep down inside our souls, we get it.  It’s just been suppressed for a while.

Our Savior is Risen!

Peace to you all,

I was struck by the same thing as we drove to church. I saw so many people just going about their regular business like any other day. Too bad.

At church they had a news clip during the sermon that told how America is becoming less and less religious. Again, too bad.

Happy Resurrection! What does Easter mean to our kids? Let them choose between a bunny or an empty tomb? I had the greatest bible study this last Sunday in proof of Jesus Christ’s resurrection. No one has ever produced a body! He arrose like he and the Old Testament said he would. The Romans and the Leaders of God’s chosen people the Jews did not want the truth, and did everything they could to prevent the body from being stolen by his followers. So much that hardened Roman soldiers were placed to guard the sealed tomb, and it is written that they witnessed an event that scared them so bad they became like dead men. Matt 28:4. Be ready for the rapture of the church for it is eminant. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. For all who call on the name of the lord will be saved. Acts 2:21 Jesus Christ is God, and the Bible is his truth to be known by his people. Help spread the word, as God wishes all to be saved.
