Irony

I catch bits and pieces of news…but supposedly, a gay activist is on a judges panel for a beauty pageant and asks a contestant how she feels about gay marriage.  Well, she answers honestly, that she believes marriage should be between a man and a woman, but it’s not the answer he wanted to hear,  so he’s outraged and later in a video response, calls her a b****.

I find it ironic that a person who wants others to accept his lifestyle, is so outraged by anyone expressing their own opinion that is different from his.  I would call this very intolerant.  The same behavior he assigns to anyone who opposes his view on the subject.

It’s not about discrimination or equal rights.  It’s not about anything other than acceptance, and if you don’t accept it then you must be a homophobe.  You must be intolerant.  You must be an idiot.  Seems like a pretty weak argument to me.  More like bullying.

But probably the most important question is this:  WHO PICKS THESE JUDGES?

Another thought…I’m tired of the PC Police.  Political Correctness is merely a vehicle to stifle free speech for those that oppose the views of the few.  Free speech is for EVERYONE.

Ok, that’s it for now.  Have a great Sunday everyone.

Well said. It’s also irritating to realize that these same people that are telling us what we’re supposed to say, are also telling us what kind of car to drive, what kind of food to eat and so on and so on and so on. Hey, libs, stop meddling in other peoples lives – it goes against the Bill of Rights and is annoying as hell.
