Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you! — Pericles

For all those you say, “I don’t really follow politics.”  This quote is for you.  I further say we have a constitutional responsibility to become an informed voter.  Information has never been more readily available on candidates.  Beyond that, common sense can get you a long ways toward an informed decision.  Otherwise, stay home on election day.

“I have never understood why it is “greed” to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else’s money.” -Thomas Sowell

“The first lesson of economics is scarcity: there is never enough of anything to fully satisfy all those who want it. The first lesson of politics is to disregard the first lesson of economics.” -Thomas Sowell
